You’ve seen the Total Sight Words videos on Youtube…Now you can have the whole Program! The Total Sight Word program is an easy and entertaining way to teach sight words. 51 sight words are taught using pictures, songs, and actions. The Total Sight Word program has everything included that a teacher might need from books, mp3’s, and an app! Here is what is included in the sight word program: -Youtube Videos: On Youtube, type in the phrase “Total Sight Words” and you’ll have access to all the TSW videos. -Suggested Sight Word Order: This is a list of the suggested order in which to teach the 51 sight words. This order correlates with the increasing difficulty of the sight word books -Sight Word Books: This is over 30 books that contain all 51 of the sight words. Each picture has fun black and white graphics with a final page where the students can write and draw their own page. The books get more difficult as more words are introduced. -Songs: These are MP3’s of all 51 sight word songs you can burn on to a CD or play on your computer. -Word Wall Boxes: These sight word cards are made to be put up on a word wall. It contains all 51 words with large bold print, with shaped boxes around them. -Flashcards: 51 simple sight word flashcards for each word. Great to be used for intervention, homework, or assessment. -Flashcards with Pictures: 51 flashcards with the Total Sight words pictures on them. You get a one sight with color pictures and one black and white set. -Posters: You will get poster in both black and white and color for each of the 51 sight words. The posters contain the picture, song, and action. They posters pair up really nicely with the app and can be used at home or at centers. - Assessment: This is an easy way to record sight word data. It is split up by Quarter but you may edit it to fit your needs. -App for any tablet or smartphone: This is amazing! This app can be downloaded on any tablet or smartphone. Students touch the picture and they will hear the sight word songs. Great for home practice or at centers! -Buzz Game: a fun game to play with the sight words. Students pick a card and read the word. If they read it correctly they get to keep the card. If they pick a buzz card, all the cards go back in the pile. *Since using this program might sight word recognition and reading proficiency levels have doubled!
